OUR NEXT BIG EVENT! Our aim at Elland Christian Centre is to be in relationship with Jesus - a relationship which is relevant to every aspect of our lives, giving us purpose and meaning.

God has made each one of us and we are very special to Him. He loves us and has a wonderful plan for our lives. Our desire is to share this amazing relationship with those around us, and by doing so fulfil God's purpose for our lives individually and as a fellowship.

...Because People Matter

Did you know that you are special to God? He made you, loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. The problem for all of us is that our wrong-doing means that we can't have a relationship with a perfect God. And we can see the sad results of this in our own lives and in the world around us.

The good news is that God loved the world (that's you and me) so much that He made a way for us to be in relationship with Him through His only son (Jesus) who came to die to take the punishment for our wrong-doing. You see, we can't deal with the issue of our sin on our own - it is only through the perfect life, death and coming back to life of Jesus, God's son, that we can leave our sin with Jesus and have the life that God planned for us, but we have to be willing to ask him to come and be part of our lives.
